If you have to create a group with the GMS application to sync it with a PLM Responsible Project Group (RPG), here are the steps to follow and the rules to respect:

Use a name starting by "CAD-" with no space and with a maximum length of 128 characters.

Configure it with these options:

• Security and lifecycle: no expiration date and no blocking date
• Membership settings:
  • Self-subscription policy: Closed
  • Purge non active users?: Yes
  • Membership visibility: CERN Users

Best practice: 

Create a second GMS group and use it to administrate the first one.That way, several persons will have the possibility to add or remove PLM users in the RPG.

Once the GMS group is created and properly configured, please contact the PLM/CAD support team, with the name of the group, to request the creation and the sync of the RPG.
