With CATIA R35 several new actions are now available for faster table cell editing and data handling in Drafting Workbench of CATIA. These new shortcuts and actions are designed to improve efficiency when editing, formatting, and exchanging table data, allowing you to quickly modify tables directly on a drawing. 

 

Firstly, to be able to do any modifications double click on your table to go into edit mode; 

 a) Copy/Paste 

Copy the table content to the clipboard or paste the content of a spreadsheet into your CATIA table  

          

 b) Modify or add content in a table cell 

1. Double click on table to go into edit mode. 

2. Select a table cell.  

3. Press Enter. 

4. Type or edit the cell content directly.  

 

 c) Insert an attribute link into a table cell 

1. Select the table cell.  

2. Press the Insert key.  

3. The Insert Attribute Link command is executed on the selected cell.  

 

 d) Clear formatting from selected cells 

1. Select one or more table cells.  

2. Press Shift + Delete, 
   or  

3. Right-click and select Clear Format from the context menu.
